PT Deca Metric Medica Showcases Healthcare Transformation on Indonesia’s 59th National Health Day

PT Deca Metric Medica (DMM) reaffirmed its support for national healthcare independence by participating in the 59th National Health Day event, held by the Indonesian Ministry of Health on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the Jakarta Convention Center.
In line with the theme of this year’s commemoration, “Healthcare Transformation for an Advanced Indonesia”, PT Deca Metric Medica highlighted its contributions to the transformation of healthcare through the innovation of domestically manufactured medical device products.
In his address, Minister of Health Mr. Budi Gunadi Sadikin reiterated the Ministry’s strong commitment to prioritizing the procurement of locally produced pharmaceuticals and medical devices. He noted a consistent increase in domestic healthcare spending.
“Domestic pharmaceutical and medical device spending has also grown significantly. In 2020, around IDR 4.5 trillion was allocated for pharmaceutical raw materials; today, that figure has doubled to IDR 9 trillion,” stated Mr. Budi Gunadi.
Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Ma’ruf Amin, emphasized that achieving healthcare resilience requires greater innovation and mastery of medical technology.
“We must fully understand that innovation and healthcare technology are the face of future civilization,” said Mr. Ma’ruf Amin.

Through its subsidiary PT DMM, PT Medela Potentia Tbk has successfully developed and produced a range of high-TKDN (local content) medical devices, including Wide Area Fixation (DecaFix), Sterile Transparent Wound Dressing with Absorbent Pad (Decamed-T), Paper Tape with Dispenser (DecaPore), and Surgical Scrub (DecaCare). These locally produced medical products have also been listed in Indonesia’s national e-catalogue system.
