PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA), the holding company of PT Deca Metric Medica (DMM), for four decades of excellence in a trusted healthcare group officially listed its shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
Through the IPO, the company successfully raised IDR 658 billion, with demand exceeding the offering by more than sixfold in the centralized allotment pool, demonstrating strong investor enthusiasm and confidence in the company’s growth prospects within the healthcare industry.
The overwhelming response—coming from over 65,000 domestic and global investors, including the International Finance Corporation (IFC)—reflects solid trust in the company’s business fundamentals and its long-term mission to expand access to quality healthcare services across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
“This IPO success is not only a financial achievement but also a tangible expression of public and investor trust in our mission to build a more equitable, modern, and sustainable healthcare ecosystem. We are grateful for this confidence and ready to leverage it to create broader impacts on public health improvement,” said Krestijanto Pandji, President Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk.

The company remains optimistic about the positive growth potential of the healthcare industry both in Indonesia and the wider region, despite global uncertainties. Indonesia’s per capita healthcare expenditure remains relatively low, presenting significant room for growth alongside increasing public health awareness.
Given the positive industry trends observed over recent years, the company reaffirms its commitment to sustainable growth through strategic business initiatives. This approach is designed to proactively respond to the evolving healthcare landscape while preparing to seize future challenges and opportunities.
Use of IPO Proceeds
PT Medela Potentia Tbk offered 3.5 billion shares, representing approximately 25 percent of the issued and paid-up capital post-IPO. The shares were priced at IDR 188 each, enabling the company to raise IDR 658 billion in capital. These funds will support the expansion and enhancement of the company’s healthcare product distribution infrastructure in Indonesia and across Southeast Asia.
Approximately 85.4 percent of the proceeds will be allocated to PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM), with 67.2 percent as loans and 32.8 percent as equity injection. Around 10.7 percent will be invested as capital injection into PT Deca Metric Medica, while the remaining funds will be allocated to GoApotik to expand its pharmacy partnerships and advance various digital initiatives in the healthcare sector.
The company plans to strengthen its domestic infrastructure by opening new branches and warehouses in strategic locations. Beyond expanding its domestic service network, it aims to extend its regional footprint within ASEAN as part of its long-term vision.
To ensure sustainable operations, PT Medela Potentia Tbk will modernize its distribution system to be more efficient and adaptive by investing in AI-powered logistics technology, warehouse automation systems such as Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), and the development of digital platforms that support end-to-end supply chain management.
“By expanding our reach, diversifying our product portfolio, and strengthening our technological foundation, we are confident in creating sustainable value and becoming a strategic partner in enhancing healthcare service quality across the region,” added Krestijanto.

The company’s role as a strategic partner in public health improvement is also demonstrated through its strong support of Indonesia’s National Health Insurance program (JKN) by BPJS Kesehatan, which now covers 98% of the population and continues to improve in service delivery—presenting a key growth opportunity for the company.
With a successful IPO and a business strategy centered on sustainable growth, PT Medela Potentia Tbk is ready to take bold strides forward as a catalyst for healthcare industry transformation in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
